Mini tracks: directional or non-directional

I'm leaning non-directional (equal traction forward and reverse).

Thoughts?

I’d say it depends on the tracks. These are directional.

Why would someone want directional tracks? Is the forward traction that much better than non directional?

I’d guess it depends on the surface you’re on. Tractors won’t perform near as well with the tires reversed. The tread clogs with mud, instead of shedding it.

It depends of the intended use too. Dragging, pushing, in forward or in reverse. A loader mainly pushes, like the tractor mainly pulls, but an excavator is mostly reversible and a mini in treework has to do both ways according to the task.
Maybe take notes of the mini's activities during all the day(s) to try to find a pattern, as when you need the most of effective traction power, which way , how often, do you use all you can get of it or have you some margin...
