Give me a call anytime tomorrow, 859-321-4498.

The way it looks, we can set you up nicely. Like I told Wagnaw, we have free dump sites, so dumping wouldn't be a problem, but you'd have to find a place. We don't have much experience with hotels around here. As far a crane work, not much. There's places it could be used, maybe. Most of the stuff is on the ground or in the tree.

 really?

sorry, I found that pretty funny. Also I am imagining all these tree guys showing up at rangers house with all kinds of equipment and his parents being like W-T-F have you been up to on that computer?!?!

hahaha yeah!:D They only suspect one truck!

We were lucky here though. Very few trees fell on a house, so most everything is accessible by bucket, ground crew, or climbers. No cranes required too much here.

I'm loving my 192T right now. I've ran it through 5 tanks of gas in two days. Dismantled a bunch of large stems that broke out.

Pine sucks bad though. If it fell already, it's frozen to the ground and to everything it touches. Plus, it weighs a ton!

I'm here. I've missed you all! :D

We've been without power since Tuesday morning and have no real expectations to see it anytime soon. We've got wood heat, and a small power inverter (?) so we can run the fan for a bit off a 12V. We cook on a propane gas top so we don't even have a problem there.

Power lines are down everywhere. I can't get out our driveway cuz of one laying down across it, two poles are down just in our yard alone. It was especially fun feeding during all that mess...but we're prepared to have to work in the elements so it's workable. We've got it good compared to so many.

I got dropped off at the library to get my fix...first internet this week....but they're limiting the time allowed since so many want access. I've got lots of pics...or at least I think I do...I can't see them except on the tiny little camera screen....I'm anxious to see and share them.

You can send any prayers and good vibes down(up?) here if you can. The word I keep hearing on the radio is "warzone". That pretty much sums it up....at least in areas.

I almost feel guilty taking so much pleasure in the unbelievable beauty this ice is also creating.

Take care.....Che

Looks like we're leaving Monday afternoon.

Don't worry, Che.. I'm coming to save ya!

Yeah, good to hear you're o.k., Che ! Long gone back home by now, I s'pect, with people lining up at the library. Dang.
People keep asking me if I / we are gonna head down to do storm work. It's not impossible... KMS lives in Springfield, MO & could put us up for a few days maybe ? Guess I'll give him a call & see wazzup. I keep thinking, "Chip truck + chipper, gas, plus meals, plus pita, plus plus plus..." It's just not really adding up unless somebody lined shit up for us ahead of time ? We'll see.
