If that is what it takes to keep a well-oiled machine going until the busy season, you're doing okay. Hiring, training, getting to production stage costs $$$$$$.

Sounds like you ciphered that just right...congrats on getting the bid. Looks like a lot of work for y'all.
And it feels good to get a bid like that, I know. I recently won a pretty big county bid (for x-ray eqpt....my "other" job) that had me up against GE (the BIG GE company) and two other local companies. One local outfit was about 10% lower than me but for some reason they awarded the bid to me...maybe he withdrew, not sure. But I beat my biggest competition here by 20% (and GE was about twice the amount I bid)...so I can empathize with your 20%. It's gonna be a lot of work but, if I get all the ducks lined up right, it should make us some moola, too.

hahaha....Jay probably has the best handle on it...10 yr old and 5 yr old grandsons can keep you going...the 5 year old loves to fight...we wrestle, kung-fu and sword fight all the time...good Pink Panther training. He has busted me a few good ones here and there.
