A good friend ran a mobile crane...absolutely hated tree work.
No way to calculate the load and most climbers were greedy and/or poor guessers.
He brought home a 100' boom truck once, we trimmed several big azz cottonwoods. Sent myself and a friend up in a basket. Damn, never was so comfortable 75' up, smooth as silk.
