and here i thought it was gonna be on ethanol ruining saw carbs and what not
and the need to use marine fuel to avoid the ethanol
and the importance of agitating the stored fuel periodically so it doesnt go bad in 55 gal drums

I hear that hence my move 16 mo ago. So now instead of mice I deal with mud daubers still surprising to me that they will go to the sooty, carbon smelling, exhaust, yet thankfull for you that it makes for a easy fix!

Hope you dont mind TW. Just dont see a reason to start a new thread for pulling saws out of winter storage.

Got warm enough to go to the barn and pull 3 project saws out and fire them up. Didnt find any corn in mine. But then again I keep the corn in the milk shed far away from the new barn.

The 026 pro running 3/8 7T and stihl RS round chisel work chain out of the box. IMO this saw would be better off with .325 7T and would try a 8T in 325. I have to be light handed with it in the cut even with poplar.

That is a really good pic. I had a 066 do the same thing....well maybe not exactly like that. Do you think a NICI coated jug would have prevented that?
