This language stuff is a Royal pain.
Even if you have all the words there is to know it is hard to express your self same way.
Online dictionary's are wonderful, but there is a lot missing.

Language converters/translators is of little help.

I think the late 50's was about the time period most saw manufacturers were going to direct drive saws from the gear drives .Stihl claims to be the first but so did McCulloch .Who's right depends on who is telling the story .
