Based on input from you all, I decided on a 330 Zubat. If Wesspur ships out as usual, I should have it next Friday. Hopefully I won't be disappointed.

And thanks for the input!

Don't worry, you'll be mad at me for letting you go this long without it!

I broke the stock scabbard on the Zubat early on, switched to a leather job that had leg mount or belt attach option, since then no worries.

I like the reach and also the vine hook. I deal with so much poison oak in trees, it comes in handy. .

Since I have no use for the sharp vine hook, I've ground it into a non sharp hook for snatching ropes with.
That works quite well.

I have the large sugoi for wrecking & a straight bladed gomtaro for pruning. The sugoi is a little rough on smaller pruning cuts but I love the ability to re sharpen it. Both are good tools

Zubat 330 all day long!
It's like my third hand...anyone want to unload an unused Zubat give me a shout.

I usually have mine in a weaver belted on my left side, the weaver gives a larger 'landing zone ' to get the saw in without having to look every time. The only time the curved blade is a bit awkward is in a tight spot, I never have a problem doing small felling cuts with it, ever.

I guess it depends on what you trim the most. For us, we use the sugoi because of all the palms we trim. With a choice of blades, some prefer one over another.

I've always used a Zubat 330, recently I switched to the Sugoi 360.
I like them both.
I agree with the fact that the Sugoi is a little bit rough. Seems like you can be more accurate with the Zubat.
What I really don't like ( about both of them) is the plastic scabbard. Now that I think about it little pieces of wood get stuck more easily in the Sugoi's one.

Thanks. I'll look around to see if I can find it, otherwise I will buy it online.
