So, any old walmart pump will work... cool.
I don't really use throwlines, but when I do I'm a terrible shot. What a simple, effective device! Surely someone has thought of this before?
A lot of the best innovations are the simplest.
You should probably offer the pump, too. Never heard of a schrader valve.

That is because you are using just enough power with your hand tossed weight to get over your target limb. With the APTA you have more options. I will often use enough power to not only reach my target but pass it with enough force to clear the rest of the canopy. The 10 oz. bag always comes back down. You can set a line in two trees with one shot.
Having the APTA will definitely open up new possibilities.
