Anyone still using the APTA?

As a plumber, you may know lots more about pvc... in tree-people's eyes, it has seemed questionable under 160psi.
I’ve never approached the pressure limit of Schedule 40 PVC, nor have I used an oil lubricated compressor to charge the cylinder. Oil and plastics don’t mix; that why you should never see PVC or CPVC in compressed air service lines. Eventually, the oil contaminated air will degrade the pipe wall and you will have a catastrophic failure. (The plastic will shatter and scatter shrapnel everywhere) For what it’s worth, the greatest pressure I’ve applied to my launcher is 80 psi - well below the pressure rating of the pipe. (160 psi @ 23 C / 77 F)
