My buddy, George, in high school had a set of Ludwigs (?)...that's what I remember them being. They were THE thing back then it seems....back around mid-60's, Beatles and all that was the rage then.

That "Pearl" finish is how I remember them looking.

Your set is looking killer man. You recall my uncle who did all the trees with me is a drummer eh. Charlie boom chicka boom Fisher. He still gigs and hits up local jam nights like crazy. Hauls his set in a pickup or in the summer months in a Cadillac. Always told me a real car can fit a set of drums. Lol. He's a bit of a minimalist though with his set. He also collects antique guitars as investments. Figures his collection appreciates a better return than a traditional investment would? I dunno about that, but I bet he gets a lot more enjoyment out of his money that way.
