Friend of mine bought a new 12 inch Morbark 15 years ago that wouldn't throw chips properly. Welded a pipe nipple in line with the chute, and a flat plate to mount a backpack blower lower near the frame. Worked great as long as we kept the blower running.
I wonder if my clutch needs adjustment in addition to what I now see is a bad roll pin/ tension pin in the primitive u-joint in the shaft to engage the PTO. I found this thread through Google.
