USA TREE CARE, East Main ST Bridgeport CT.

This is the ad printed on tear out sheets on the bulletin board at the local Subway shop in town.....

I guess the next time I get an all day $1800+ removal, I should have them do it and pocket the difference:|:

If they added to their advertisement, "and free day care while we're at it", they'd clean up. Bored mothers would be hiring them to cut down tall bushes.

We have the same thing here, except their price is $250. And it's a legitimate (or at least legitimate appearing), large company with their own cranes, mulch recycling yard with tub grinder, etc. In fact I got one of their fliers on my door last week, I'll take a picture of it for you.

I get really nervous when I see a company doing more than one professional service. Why paint houses, unless you're not very good at trees.

I assume they are doing the painting in order to keep employees busy. Scary slow in these parts, our entire economy is built around service industries and nobody is buying anything right now.

And roofing probably requires more skill than their Mexican and Cuban work force can provide.

some restrictions may apply. probably just to get their foot in the door to make a sale

I guess I have 3 questions re the $700 doods:

1) Could they be any good? Could they actually do a job as advertised, and achieve customer satisfaction?

2) Will many people who need treework be willing to call such an ad?

3)If #s 1 and 2 are answered in the affirmative, could these guys stay in business at those prices?
