Gerry, do cottonwoods rely on heat scarification to ensure germination of the next generation like some conifers?

Redbuds do well with that too. Also Blue Gum Euc near me just thrived for new sprouts after a fire.

Ha! I have tried that before. It is as hard as it looks. He did a good job but I think they slow mode in the middle.... watch his pants and the wind blowing. Still impressive. I first saw that in a Chinese wushu display in Tennessee at a big Opera House.

There's a railway line and river below, they're putting mesh to stop rocks falling and a tourist lookout or something on top.
