Thanks a lot, it would be a shame not seeing that.

On the first vid, why did you rig the both leaders together, instead of removing the small one first and then the main trunk?
It would be less heavy on the rigging.

Good question, Marc-A. But the smaller trunk didn't weigh much, after I cut it off as far up as I could reach, off that ladder.

However, I only had my regular groundie ( who is a rigging rookie), for a brief spell while we were doing the first double LD lift., plus one guy who'd never done tree work. Ian does climb a bit, but that was the first and only day he's worked. So, in the interest of simplifying the procedure, I tried the double tie as an after thought. It was easy to lift the pair off the house.
