8.9 magnitude earthquake in Japan!

I could make a chair that you couldn't fit into unless you lost weight. It seems a little mean, though. Generally the other way around is better, allow room for expansion.

Make it out of glue then!

Perhaps you could make the individual parts, and mail them out one a week until he has the whole set. The last part comes with assembly instructions and a pot of glue.

That's what I was thinking, you could copy Ikea, only make the instructions right.

I'm glad you're working again Jay, it's good therapy. :)

Anyone see this? Just another side to it all.

You can read what they are saying here. http://au.news.yahoo.com/world/a/-/world/9028348/dog-remains-behind-rubble/

The De Haviland Mosquito twin engined bomber of ww2 was probably the best prop aircraft the world has ever seen, and that was made entirely out of balsa wood.

Jay, FWIW stay away from the water, spinach and milk in Fukushima prefecture, and if you havent already, I would highly suggest iodine pills. As previously stated, this isnt getting better, yet.

I think the form is potassium iodide for the pills, it fills up the thyroid preventing it from absorbing radioactive iodine isotopes.

The pills are flying off the shelves, along with the instant noodles.

Talked to a good friend of mine who runs a car electronics place, three brothers, two wives and a son. Not much looking good work wise, most people in the same boat..... The north where the quake was, has a lot of industrialization that supplies parts to the rest of the country. No parts, so assembly lines can't operate, like the big car manufacturers, a very important industry here. They have all shut down. Financially, this is starting to hurt big time. The roof tile guys are making a killing, though.

My wife and I are just getting some big air of uncertainty.

For what??? I thought you of all people (and Im not trying to be a dick in any way) would have the serenity to accept that that you cannt change. I sometimes truelly envy my very religous ground worker for that. He just accepts stuff for what it is as it is Gods will. I stress over stuff that he completely accepts.......
