Gary or anyone else that happens to know.

I just took a 028 super in trade that was just redone with oem parts and less then 5 tanks through it.

What I am wondering is your super in this thread metal tag is all black and the one I got has red super and woodboss. Any idea why the difference? My guess year made maybe?

I have the same saw with the all black tag. I have been under the impression that it is earlier than when they decided to add "woodboss', and that is the only difference. Very reliable and hardworking tool, but the 034/036 combination is more powerful and lighter. Not being negative, though, happy cutting!

That's a cute little bugger. Have you put a bar and chain on it yet?

Not yet but catching up slowly going through the stack of trade in's. Was going to try a 18" 3/8 on it.

I have that combination 034av with 036 topend too, its wearing a 20" 3/8 and running good now after chasing a air leak for 2-3 days.

Heck I got trade in's MS660 92cc, Poulan 505 82cc, Jonsered Husky combo 2171/372 71cc, Poulan 365 60cc, others I cant think of off hand that I still havent put a bar on yet.

Did get the Partner 550, Stihl 026 Pro and 034/036 ready to cut the last few days.

Damn forgot my new JD 800v 80cc = Echo 8000 hasnt had a bar put on it yet either. Go Echoooooooo ;)

Looks like I need to sale some MS660 stock and woods ported 066 off. :)

I've used an 028 for five or six years, and never once have needed to adjust the carb screws. Good starter too, and a solid runner.
