    How'd it go today?

I can't stand cold weather, get over 100 feet up right off the water somewhere and there's simply no way to stay warm. I can't take the heat like i used to after i got sick, but I'll take it over freezing any day. Before i was only happy if it was 110 out and i just caught on fire

Sometimes they seem to pretend to be cool and just kinda hang out like that, it's weird. Before i got married and had kids i had cleaned up the sailboat (which was often a wasp subdivision since i park it in the back 40) and took it out on the river with about 10 people. We were all partying on...

The insurance and liability is the reason, for a construction company it's basically less of a headache to simply rent exactly the model you need for the job. The trailer mounted ones lead an incredibly hard life, because that's often homeowners renting and beating them up. Construction guys...

If you really wanna be fancy you can heat up the metal first and burn it in, that way it'll fit perfectly and the wood will be hardened by the scorching.

It's just microwave radiation, a shorter wavelength than radio waves but longer than infrared. The smaller the wavelength the more dangerous because it carries far more energy, and all 3 of those have a larger wavelength than visible light.

Our microwave is used so little it's put up between uses on a pantry rack, but i often use one at work to warm up leftovers.

The line launcher looks cool, batteries have come a long way and the tools are adapting to the different jobs better as time goes on. Milwaukee is pretty good, they seem to be the favorite in construction, but I'm a big fan of makita. I have a bunch of rigid stuff too, and i like them a lot too...

If it's dirt I'll work great, the only thing that slows it down is solid rock. Around here at least hardpan is compressed clay and dirt that's dried out, add some water and force the dirt to move with a few thousand psi and its no longer hardpan. Try it next time, you might be hand digging less...

Pressure washer and a shop vac, you would be amazed at how well it works  especially for trenching in something narrow, because the hole only has to be wide enough for the shopvac hose so it can suck the spoil away. You'll need other dirt to backfill with tho, unless you wanna wait till it...

When faced with stress and the like, i find it's best to focus on what you can change and accept what you can't, then make a list and plan how you're gonna do it all and just go to work on the stuff you can do. The fastest way to work is by calm, measured steps that are planned out, so you can...

You could rig up your own cable tool one if you needed to, I've been toying with the idea myself since I'm on a bored well and have to haul water from time to time.
