I watched an artist draw a portrait of person. It started out with just scribbles here and there on the paper and in the end the scribbles all fit together to make a beautiful image. That is talent I have not, and probably never will, master.

Oh, man, leaky gas pipes have reeked disasters. I recall two that rocked the town. One in Santa Rosa in 1974, I believe, and then one in Ft. Bragg in 2001. I was miles away during both and they still rattled doors and windows. Deaths in the Santa Rosa event.

About 25 years ago a neighbors house blew up. Propane tank rusted out and gas settled into basement. Oil burner kicked on and blew the end off of the house. Neighbor lived a couple of days afterward, but didn't make it.
