Any tips on pounding out an idler pulley spindle? Pulled the whole track tensioner Thing to keep from damaging the adjustment slot. Shattered the end of a 6"extension with 0 sign of movement

Press? What's wrong with the spindle?

I would be willing to bet there is a c-clip on the oposite side holding it in place. Probably a bigger clip possibly a snap ring.

You will need a press to get the roached bearing out. And heat.
