Chaps are so nice n warm when the weather turns cold and you aren't dressed for it. You know it when I'm driving the truck wearing chaps:lol:

Saw pants for me every day. Granted it is a lot cooler climate over here in U.K. Technology is making these things lighter. I am a pfanner man myself. On my 6th pair. One plus for them is you can buy the regular sizes and get +7's for the taller tree cutter. I have the Arborist trousers in type c and type a.

Type c today.

Saw pants every day for me too, either ground work or climb work, even home work.
I'm so used to them, that I feel in shorts when I wear again some jeans !
I don't understand how so many of you can stand the chaps. Perhaps it's a matter of history/ tradition with the cowboy's cloths (from the very few I know of it), but they are so bulky...

Here's my proof I bought them and am using them. Thanks Stig for the story to push a guy into a safer spot.

Stig has got guys to wear cut protection and Burnham got us to stop wearing our spikes on the ground...nice to have our 'Pops' looking out for us :)

(where I come from being called Pops, or Mums or Auntie by the younger set is a sign of respect)

That's right out of the guy who invented the bullet proof vests playbook. The one who went around the country shooting himself. . . Their description of how those high modulus fibers are made was neat.
