What blower do you use?

I have seen the this backpack Stihl being used. But not on saw crumbs that embed them selves in the grass.

Are you all saying this blower is capable of blowing all the left over saw crumbs & twigs from a crispy cracker TD into a pile with out a rake?
Some of the property I do TDs on are immaculate. I am talking pic perfect & the client wants them that way when I'm done.
If I am understanding whats being said about this blower correctly I will be buying one soon.

With the need to be picture perfect in mind, two steps that you may already use, but might otherwise be worth saying, include,

Blow early and blow often. Trampled saw chips are harder to get out.

Buck bigger rounds with a tarp right up against the log. Its easier to slide the tarp after 4-5 cuts, collecting the bulk of it in the first place than to try to get it out of someone's manicured grass.

I've seen a BR600 in use, and its really useful, though with a sizeable takedown, you will still have created a bunch of saw chips that can only be hidden so much, the rest needing to be hauled.

For really finicky people, I've thought of charging them a premium service fee and bring a good bagger mower to "vacuum" them up, as I don't have a walk behind vacuum, though they're rentable, for the really fancy-pants, anal-retentive types who are willing to pay for the premium service. Thankfully, these types are very few and far between for me. Last job at the gated country club, I wanted to fire the whole place from future work, but will just have to charge them extra extra.

We have a p.o.s echo blower thats hard to start and not up to the job,i would NEVER buy an echo anything!!!

Yup! You got it right.
I really like doing this type of work. For the golf courses & folks here that live in whats called the Mission Hills area. I charge for it. When I leave they are almost always happy & so am I.

Im going to try one of these Stihl blowers out next week

We have 2 Echo PB-770H's and love them, not one single problem with either one. Made my old stihl backpack blower look like a 2 year old blowing out a candle on his birthday cake!!!!.......(and all I own is stihl). Can't beat the spec's either

I bought this used last year. BR340. Works fine for my kit. I have been getting more and more in town of late and some nice driveways as well. Lawns are scarce here. SO it fits the bill nicely and has about paid for itself already. CDF will tag you for dirty gutters and roofs as well. So we will not only clean up what mess we made, but often ask the HO if they would like the whole shebang while we are on the roof. :) There are usually a few more buildings on site as well ;) Sometimes the add ons bump the bill nicely.
