It alludes to a beer flavor. It also alludes to grapefruit. Depends on where your head's at.

You should try it. It's good. Crisp, refreshing, and it doesn't make you feel bloated. Coming in from working in the heat, I'd rather pound a can of hop water than a can of beer. It gives you an element of beer taste, without some of the subjective negatives. Beer's for after you cool down, and settle down. Of course, I'm not the biggest beer drinker anyway. I prefer mine cooked down, and put into barrels for 12-15 years :^D

For me to be enthusiastic, beer needs to taste like it has something going on, like a porter or a stout.

But I take your point in that more than a couple makes me feel like I swallowed an ocean .

Yea, stouts are my jam. If you're gonna tempt me with a beer, a stout's what likely gonna get me to bite.

IPA and high hop beers kind of annoy me. I like them, but it's become the default style. If a place has one nice beer available, odds are it's gonna be an IPA or something similar.

try some athletics. They have a subscription where you can order many different alcohol free craft brews. I think they vacum extract the alcohol or something. Several porters and dark beers. Some seasonal.
