What Are You Drinking Tonight?

Once in a while is fine Jim. I might have a Pepsi once a week. Besides my pot of coffee it’s been a lot of water. Trying to cut down on the alcohol and doing ok for now.

I got this a couple years ago after being away for years. I was kinda disappointed at first, but it's grown on me. They got a new master distiller in the intervening years, and he's really ramped up the smoke, and cut the sweetness a bit. It's now kind of an Islay light, whereas before it was along the lines of a Macallan, though not quite as sherried. They're also playing up their viking heritage with their marketing. Suits me. I like the interlocked animal designs. The bolder flavor goes well with the viking imagery also, but there isn't any evidence vikings distilled alcohol.
