I don't think I could sleep well at night knowing my shop is 22 miles away.

Kyle, google/youtube served me up a video based on past viewing of spray mig - but it was a machinist using oxy acetylene and what looked like an air compressor spray gun with a small plastic bottle hopper of powder(?) that fed into the flame and got deposited to 20 or 30 thou thick while he spun a shaft in a lathe. Have you ever head of such a thing? Called spray welding.

Never even seen it done, but I've heard of it. Never needed it thus far i guess lol.

Lot faster and less waste than building up a shaft.

Probably cooler too.
