A year ago I asked about how to keep extension cords together on P. 4 of this thread:

Tying a knot in the two cords did not work because the cord on the Husky electric was too short, and it would work loose quickly. Today I found these at Platt Electric:

The only drawback I see so far is that you have to wire it onto one end of your extension cord, but otherwise it's easy on, easy off, and holds well. Just like a knot should be.

Have you been having a hard time getting your electric chainsaw to the top of the tree?

HaHaHa! Good one.

Actually, I have taken several smaller trees down with it, where I wanted to be discreet, and I have pulled it up to 40' in one case. But usually it's just for ground cutting. For example, yesterday I got a small 18"DBH 60' tree to the ground, then the owner decided he wanted it cut into 16's for firewood. So I came back this morning early, and it's a quiet community.

If there's plug within 100' and I'm on the ground, I'll probably grab the electric first.

I think the norther American model number is 110, the European may be called the 220.

Electric saw fur real? Noise by-law around these parts is 7am, can't even start that early now due to the light.
