That is sweet the way it is usable, saves a vehicle and driver.
Was there a learning curve to riding it? Imo PPE for sure. I'd probably go with gloves as well as helmet and kneepads probably wouldn't be a bad idea.

Coast live oak. Previous cuts are not healing over, not a good sign. Probably weakened, but removing large limbs probably worse.not knowing anything about the species, i would go with light reduction/ clearance pruning for the road.
No ice. I need to get up there and look closer but there may be structural issues from those unhealed cuts and breaks. Unfortunately, removing them would be more than gentle.Clearance for the road. Structural pruning for bad structure, if present, e.g. a badly included fork may warrant some gentle reduction.
