The Official Work Pictures Thread

Cool pictures, great to see the TH continuing on.

My climb has been winding down a bit…. I dunno.
I talked to a friend, also contract climber and he said Big island is the cheapest wages, and many many younger faster guys here will work for cheaper than me. Haha. It’s a race to the bottom. To be continued. On the other hand, white collar arborist work has returned from the past.
I’m good for about 5 hours climbing and about 3 days a week is perfect. Trying to stay gigging the 1099’s and avoid getting a 40hour job.

Great pics and info. Keep on keeping on, feeding that dragon.

Nice litter picking up, from a beach?

That pic, did that plastic girdle the trunk and cause the weird growth?

Yes, I know that Alex Shigo,, proved that treating cuts with tar is ineffective, but on the contrary harmful. But my practical experience over the past 30 years shows the opposite. I repeat, I do not use tar, but use alkyd spray paint. You understand that in the air (especially in a big city) there are always spores of pests and other harmful particles. As it is known, all people are prone to error, but practical experience has not been canceled!) IMG_4599.jpeg

Sorry y’all I went to maui for last week.
Heading to Tokyo and Kyoto next week….little intimidated.

@flushcut those are Capt Cook pines . They don’t like Capt Cook.. the pine is decent.. heavy tops.. shitty rope guy w lots of sap will hula hoop you outta yer spurs…. Haha

@cory the litter was 20 minutes from behind an Apple facility.
That picture went up so many food chains, hahahahahahahahajahah. Here to frig shit up and expose.
I was mortified people (supposedly high tech refined) would litter and behave like that next to a garbage can and ash tray.
friggin' pigs.

The second pic is an old trainer tape around the trunk not removed on installation or the next 5 years which did not allow the goodies from the top of the tree reach the bottom of the tree. The picture is very informative. Much to learn from disinterest and deferred maintenance.

Anyhoo…..

Yeah I was in an easy ass Gucci small monkey pod tree in maui looking at the view and was like, frig this shit. Haha.
Hard to give up for the money but old strippers die….
