Had to come down for this top and it was not a stub just the perfect cradle.

Do tell about that saw, Reg. Crazy how the blade looks different lengths in different pics.

Is it the "wicked tough" saw? Why were you using it in that situation? Perhaps you are using it in place of a regular handsaw. Thanks

Its the silky katanboy. I normally hardly ever use handsaws, they too slow. but this one is different. It was important that we had quiet as I stripped out that tree so that saw was perfect....you need two hands on it though to get the full benefit:https://www.treestuff.com/store/catalog.asp?item=1389
