I knew that.
Just figured you might have been south at some point.

Cute as hell, they are.

If a rattle snake can make it up here, you figure a 'diller could.

I assume.

Never been south Stig. Been east and west a lot, north some too.

Never south.

We have frogs and turtles and salamander and such, which you think would be less resilient than a armadillo, but I guess not.

This is interesting, but hardly accurate.

Like, did no dutch people die?

Yeah that's insane. He doesn't even flinch. I'm pretty sure i wouldn't last more than a few hours in that environment lol

Sig, even if the numbers are slightly off, it still is a useful visual to see the waste and stupidity of war. A similar visual dealing with the economics of it would also be highly interesting. I've heard that Russia joining the Pacific theatre was more convincing to the Japanese than the atomic bombs (the incendiary bombing of Tokyo killed more), and seeing that a country could sustain such an incredible loss and still prevail and still be continuing forward really drives that point home. The amount of personnel and materiel that Russia was willing to expend is truly horrifying.

I'll bet, both that man and animal know each other from similar past experience.

Very well may be, though the guy in the vid writing later about the incident doesn't mention that they were familiar with each other.

Perhaps it was more they are both highly sentient beings and were tuned in closely to the situation at hand, and were basically able to read each other as the encounter unfolded. In reading a bit about it, he said it occurred in an area where there was some poaching pressure which would seem to add a further element of danger given that the elephant would presumably have to sort out whether the guy is a poacher, and the guy would have to sort out if the elephant is sorting that out.
