The Official Random Video Thread!

TV transmission towers. One was 300', the second 425', not 450' - my bad. I got a hunnert bucks each to change one light bulb in each one. This was around '79 or so. I was high as hell!!!

He makes everything he does look so easy...

He pretty much does things as easily as possible. Only working as little as possible to achieve his intention. Hold, pull, push, etc 101% of what is needed to not fall off. Long, hard free-solo routes take pacing.

That guy is amazing!

Then there was that time a tree removal almost started WWIII. :(

Don't you just hate doing jobs when the neighbors are feuding? :X

Guy fabricates a log arch trailer at home, strangely satisfying.

I'm subscribed to his channel. Lots of cool wood working.

This is what Kyle was talking about, I think, more or less.

Yup we were, and i still need to make a video about that stuff. I apologize about not doing so yet, life is pretty crazy with work 5 hours from the house and 2 kids under a year and a half... i subscribed to him as well, and i love his enthusiasm and determination. Whether it's the best way or not is irrelevant, he had an idea, made a decision, and followed through with it, and it works!

I like your evaluation of his work. More than one way to skin cats...just being productive and finishing things is significant.

I drove one of those about 3 years ago.

Love at first sight.

I wrote a post about it in the motorcycle thread.

If I worked in the city ( 40 miles from here) I would already have one.
Perfect for commuting.

Since i like going on long trips to other countries, it doesn't really work for me.
But man, do they ever ride fine.

Tom Cruise rode one in the underrated film Oblivion.

(Turns out it?s a custom Honda CRF450X, but cool nevertheless)
