That was a good evening. I think we were still dancing at 8am. New Years this year is going to be pretty good, a masqued ball affair. one of my guys is headling, he's good a great reputation as a DJ and producer as well as treework.

One of the best groundies ever. I think he's ADHD, cant sit still ever. If I go off site and leave him a job to do, I know it will be done 110%. If he does it and I'm gone, he'll start polishing and cleaning the truck, or raking the customers lawn, or sweeping the street.

I had a groundy like that last year, it was hard to get him to stop! That's not to say the current lot aren't good either, they all go hard.


Ive been pulling a few all nighters of late, the only one that was actually worthwhile was seeing Ben Klock in November, that man is pure techno royality, a god even.

Ben Klock is the bomb. Glad to see another techno aficionado in the house. New years was pretty epic, deep house sounds from 11pm till about 2. it went hardcore techno at about 2 am with my guy Jacques and another DJ bouncing tunes off each other till about 5am.

Glad to see another techno aficionado in the house.

Likewise mate, I'm sure we could easily have more techno fans if people had better access to quality music, since you cant find it just any old place many people miss out -sadly. Its probably more the case here in Oz- very small scene. Chris Liebing was here in November but he played just the one festival in another state and that was it, no other bookings. Later this month we have Jeff Mills, Derrick May & Kevin Saunderson at an outdoor "family friendly" festival. That will probably be it for some time-as far as any big names are concerned.
