That's often the thing with talented kids, awesome technique, but they haven't got the capacity to play with feeling/emotion yet. I don't think that you can really call it music. Paying your dues if you want to play the blues, isn't just talking about technique. Get desperate broke and have a number of mean women walk all over you, then people will want to listen, or something..... Strange how it works.

But this one seems to me to have a feel for the music.
I normally hate it when you get subjected to some kid who have learnt to play a piece by connecting the dots, but not learned to PLAY it by any means.

The Slash cover of the Godfather theme had a lot of feeling in it, as did the Andante ( girl can read music as well as play it!).

I love classical music, and while that andante was not masterly played, I would not have thought: " KID" if I had had the picture turned off.

Once she finds her personal style, she'll really be something, I think.

They all started out by imitating others.

As for her looking "bored", so does Eric Clapton on occasion.
