Sumo....it's the whole context to the activity that makes it interesting, not just a couple fat guys jostling against each other for a brief time in the ring. There is drama how things develop during the number of days session. Guys in the top ranks are very prideful and hate to be beaten by underlings, and it can even mean forced permanent retirement if it happens beyond a certain point. The crowd loves to see the top guys lose to up and comers. There has been some great champions. I liked this sumo, Chiyonofuji, not a real big guy but lots of power and self esteem and he kept his weight under control. The day he lost a match to an up and comer, he retired, wouldn't accept the disgrace to his position.
