Yep- sharpened saws, sighted some scopes in and drank a little beer. It was a good down day for me.:)

Thanks, V. Although my birthday is really October 21st, my 50th (despite a couple attempts to set the record straight with the birthday administrator!).

OCTOBER 21st - the big 5 - 0! :-O

Thanks for the kind birthday wishes you guys! Like Butch did on his 50th, I'm kind of trying to not make a big deal of having a milestone birthday. But it's not easy, especially with people continuing to reminding me I'm turning the big 5 - 0, and making various "old age" jokes. What hurt the worst was getting that AARP card in the mail the other day. :(

I must admit though, when MB turned 50 last year we DID have a lot of fun with him! :D So I guess I know what it's like now!
