Me and Lou headed to a spot I used to bowhunt, I remembered some big old fence-row trees being there...

Was a cool day, sunny and the fall colours are coming on strong :)

we get to some trees, and I spy a nice sugar maple 100 yards away.

We go look and a porcupine is chillin' about 50 feet up.

I decided we should climb it and get some pics of the rascal up close and personal ;)

As I'm getting my friction saver set, the little devil pissed on us, just missed the throwline...lol and them things piss A LOT!

so we got up there, took some pics of him, Lou was loving it big time" oh look, he's soooo cute, look how he scratches himself". I think he liked her too, he was making little noises at her, kinda like a celly on vibrate8)

here are some pics

our TIPS, Some beauty fall colours, and a pic of the damage this poor sugar maple has sustained by these porcupines, in an earlier life, I would have smoked him without thought....but it was fun to interact with it, and watch it interact with us :)

Let loose like "shoot" his quills?
:lol:;) mhm Willie....you didn't know they can shoot them???? :/: you would be surprised how many old "veteran" outdoorsman here still think that too, even 'lil Lou knew they don't...

what do u mean even I knew they dont....r u saying im not usually intelligent?:what:

I think that was in reference to your young age, not your level of intelligence. Read the rest of the sentence.

Why do women always twist comments around into insults when they aren't meant to be insults? :?

so just cuz im young i dont know things? lmao im 20 not 2... and as for these many old "veteran" outdoorsman who didnt know... clearly it has nothing to do with age...
