We run both Ian, mutts and greyhounds come in many colors. What amazes me about saw manufacturers is when they create a dependable, popular, beast of a saw, they seem to modify it for the worst or discontinue it. I hunted up your way a couple of years ago with a gentleman named Brent Van Hovlen, ever heard of him?

Nope, that's all changed now.
The latest 4 th generation MS261 C-M is now on the market in Germany. More power then the Husqvarna 550XP and now as light in weight. Totally redesigned .
MS261 CM: 50.2cc, 4.1 h.p/3kw, 10.8 lbs./4.9 k.g.
550 XP: 50.1cc, 3.75h.p./2.8kw, 10.8 lbs/4.9 k.g.

They didn't stop at the 261 the new MS 362 C-M is now more powerful and lighter then the Husqvarna 562XP. Over a half lb lighter.

I've had these pictures for some time now, but now that the new generation MS261/362 C-M are on the market I feel it's safe to show them now.
Not introduced yet but this pics of the prototype MS 461 C-M. Air injection, spring anti vibe and new "Husqvarna style" ultra laid back cylinder.

Yes I read that congratulations. I have 3 of them but only run them for my chainsaw competition, very quick nice handling reliable saws.
I was running my 346XP as a spare saw for the last few years.

I prefer a 362 for throwing around when shedding brash for the chipper. You might have that already covered I. The huskies though.

My little Husky T536XP battery saw works great alongside my chipper. No warm up, just squeeze the trigger and cut.
With lots of limbing on the ground the 346/550XP are about all you need, until you get into heavy hardwood then the 60 cc saw like a 562XP really perform.
