Songs I Like

Key of “b” ... deceptively simple arrangement but the rhythm is tricky ... especially like the country-metal lead section !
 
Oh well I liked it. A lot of people have done it, pretty hard to beat the Bobby Hatfield one but I think he did.



I liked Frankie's Black Betty as well but sort of like the Aussie version a bit better. A lot of people have done that one as well.

Watching this made me nostalgic for the time when a 24 year old girl could get on stage with her guitar and make music like this.

 
Seems like Billy Strings is a good bet for the next generation of finger pickers:



 
He's a flat picker actually, but yeah he's hot right now...good musician that grew up about 30 miles from here...I used to pick with his Dad & uncle a lot, jammed wit his granddad a couple times.
He moved down to Nashville a few years ago. It's great to see him head out on the road and have such success doing his own thing.
