@stig Another Pouges fan here and seen em a couple of times. Met my better half at a Shane MacGowan and the Popes gig a good few years ago (95 I think) - some romantic serenade especially when Kirst MacColl appeared 😎

I love uilleann pipes. I wanted to try to learn, but there's no economical way about it. Even a practice set is pretty big money.

I was thinking about it, and the traditional practice instrument for the pipes was a pennywhistle. I used to play a good bit, and have 2-3 dozen whistles. I made a few. Here's one I could find in the key of C...
