I don't think they're really comparable products. The other two alternatives are electrically powered; the components themselves are much more expensive.
For "micro" companies like myself, I find it hard sometimes watching a groundie clean up a large branch, or operate some of the small machinery such as the mini skid steer.
The Wraptor will allow the climber to descend the tree, and help with the cleanup, and operate that machinery to make the landing zone cleared quicker. As fast as you came down to help, you can make it back up the tree to get back to work...with no energy expelled.
Gotta love it.
A little off the topic at hand, but you brought it up. Some food for thought..... Your ground help will never become as proficient as you at running the equipment if you won't be patient through the learning curve and let them do it. Practice makes perfect. Every one of us is probably really good at running our stuff. It wasn't always that way, was it? Erik used to really suck at running my log grapple. He's almost as good as me now. Patience and training go a long way in creating more productive employees.
