Best climbing helmet I've had.

I had the same problem but I was able to replace it with a new one. IIRC it was a widespread problem and the replacement pad was free.

I did like the comfort of that leather pad, better then the present terry cloths ones that I use that have to be changed 3 times a day from being soaked in sweat. Just couldn't handle the dye leaching out of the black leather one.

I've seen them with no brim and good vent holes at a trade show in Oz a few years back...tried one on once, it felt pretty good.

Interesting, Petzl helmets never seem to fit my large noggin well, so the Pacific is a better fit for bigger heads?
