I am very carefull! the north coast can be or is a killer...

The son of our local blacksmith here was taken out by a big wave while surf fishing in the North Coast back in the 80's. They never found the body.

Oh, what a day! Started on the reef and John caught a nice hog fish, I caught a grouper that was to small to keep...20 inches was to small Blacks have to be 24 inches.
Then, we spotted the dolphin on the way to the island. Finally, I have some pictures to share. It is just such a joy to see them in the wild.

Poor guy is smiling! I guess your 'ambush' waking him up didn't make him grumpy

Frans, Palmer is so cute. He gets up with me, we shut the bedroom door so not to bother John, then around 8:30 he will go sit by the door and look at me....almost like he is asking me is it time yet? I tell him no, 30 more minutes.
Sunday morning, John actually got up just at ambush time, opened the door and there was Palmer waiting on him.

With John working, my folks, myself and my brother went out on a party boat today. My brother got a 25 inch grouper and my dad caught some yellowtail.
