The amount of pull was not too much, so I figured it would work o.k. At the other end is a pulley.
Doubling the amount of pull with less effort.
Other than the way I tied the pull off line, which you all hate,
how else would I have done it? I guess I coulda tied a clove hitch or something...
Also, the grcs ripped some bark, so I was trying to not have any ropes slipping on the trunk
On another note, I have a couple of pix of the cut I made to the tree which was pulled over, I sure would like some advice on how I made the cut. But thats for another thread. Just have to dig the pix out of my movie camera...
