Carl,
You worked with me for 2 days, or was it 3?? You know how busy we can get.

That machine is really nice , I have only seen two around here and have never operated on myself , what is the set up time , like in someones back yard?

Set up time is minimal. Drive in swing the legs out and push 1 button, on mine anyway. 2 on Wesley’s machine, unless he disables the dead man button like I did. Anyway, push the button for the outriggers if on the ground/side panel or the lever/joystick if in the basket. The legs come down pick the machine up and level it in a matter of minutes, I never actually timed it but it is not long at all.
Then if you need to move to another area, like the other side of the tree or another tree. You just drop down lift the legs a foot or so and drive to the next set up. That is if you have room to leave the legs down, but you can control each leg separately, like lift one side all the way up or any combination whatever the job requires.
I bet you cannot wait to get it Wesley, that is the worst part waiting for it to get there. I use ours all the time, the big bucket gets used very little anymore. Looks like I will be going to Tulsa OK in a couple of weeks to take down a cottonwood that has been dead a long time, can't be climbed and no crane access, at least that’s what the guy said that called. However, at any rate it's booked all I have to do is get it on the ground his ground crew will take it from there....

Lenny Polonski called me today and said the container was leaving their yard as we speak. Hopefully the shipping company will get it here in 24-30 days like they estimated.

Money no longer grows on trees in my neck of the woods...

No new toys for me.

But, more power to ya Wesley!

Money grew on a tree today. Removed a large branch (14" dia., 15 ft. long) and several small ones for $1500 today and sold the large branch for another $500. The guy I called even came to the job site to pick it up.

Just found out the container came on an earlier voyage and arrived May 10 at 2117! The trucking company called to schedule delivery and will deliver tomorrow morning. Lenny is arriving in Hawaii tomorrow afternoon, so we will pull the lift out on Thursday morning.

I'll have pictures and have already scheduled 3 days of work for it next week.
