Some gopher appeared over night and snagged one of my tomato plants. I put some Phostoxin in his hole and there was some activity the next morning, but no damage, so I did it again. No activity this morning.

Used kitty litter is a great idea. Around here you just turn on the irrigation ditches and flood the area. No more gophers.

We found how to get the little buggers past year.. Yes cats are involved. But plant onions.. The little buggers only ate the onions and the cats knew right where to get the little buggers.. MANY Casualties :D

Steve, I hope you don't have your dogs or kids around those pellets...they look pretty interesting to me, maybe even tasty. :O

No gophers around here. Plenty of moles, though....and while the dogs kill the moles pretty quickly, often THEY do more damage getting to them then the moles do.

In order for my dogs to catch any gophers they would have to wake up from sleeping in front of the TV on their dog bed. The tablets react with the moisture in the ground and make phosphene gas. It is then absorbed into the ground and in a few hours it's all good, for me anyway. Any dogs digging in my garden are taking their chances.

I am seriously thinking of buying this. It seems like it would be a good side business.

Lots of folks are fighting moles, voles whathave you around here. Half acre lawns destroyed in one night.

This device seems to really work, and it collapses the tunnel too!

I bet I could make some $$ working this device.

Sorry cant seem to embed any of the vids.

I had one of those when I farmed. They work pretty good. I have it on permanent loan to a landscaper buddy of mine.

They say a very effective mole deterrent can be made by pouring liquid soap into human urine .Allow the mixture to ferment a few days then pour it in the mole hill . Preferably remain up wind while doing so phew.:O

I flattened a bunch of mole hills out today with my asphault roller while doing my lawn . No doubt they will be back though .

I might try the detterent I mentioned in the other post or just apply it directly in a matter of speaking . That would no doubt entail drinking more beer so I don't run out of ammunition though . Oh alas the things I must do to keep a nice yard .
