I have noticed a myriad of new internet sites designed to "help" you find the business you are looking for. They call me and try to sell me their services weekly. The problem with them is they obscure the companies own sites. If I type in my tree service name and the town its in I get Merchant Circle's listing for me and not my own website. I was looking for companies that sell gravel in my area and a tone of helper sites came up and the real companies that sold gravel were pages deep. I have also noticed this on news searches. If you are searching for a news story you have to sift the pages of blogs, opinion pages and other non-news sites to find the actual story. I think stuff is getting harder to find on the net as there is more fluff and detritus to sift through to find actual content.

do you search in google sometimes? if so after your search you can click the news button near the top to fine tune your search
