My dad finially had enough....after punishing ourselves since the mid 70's with a lowly 5hp splitter, he went ALL out. Tmberwolf TW-5 commerical splitter, hyd log lift, hyd 4-way wedge and autocycle. So far this thing has been unstopable.

FWIW, the block on the splitter is 38" Cottonwood.

Pretty sweet though! Whats something like that cost?

This was a demo model, got it for 7k, regular price is 8k. Looked at several others, their all in the same price range. WTF, its only my inheritance, least I can enjoy it with dad.

Also the new t-wolfs don't have the auto-cycle feature, to much liability.

Oh, how lovely.
The one and only thing where you " sue them for all they've got" Yankees were ahead of us commies.
The auto cycle feature.

Any splitter bought in Denmark today has to have two handles.
You have to press both to operate the splitter.

Supposedly that makes it safer.

What happens in reality ( a word never encountered by those who pass out the silly rules) is that to speed up the works, the owner has little Peter( 6 years old) or drunk uncle Ernie operate the splitter while he puts the rounds of wood into position.

Is that a total recipe for disaster or what?
