Looks a lot better than the massive conglomeration you had at the Redwood get-together, Stephen. You've refined your setup quite a bit in the last few years.

 I'll never live that down!

I will say it again..... I was testing the Wraptor for hauling a lot of gear with me. I do a lot of rigging jobs. Being able to haul all that weight, place it and get to work was important with me :)

I can say that it amazes me, how I can tie and clip tons of gear and whatever saw to me and just get up there and do it. So much wear and tear on the body that just does not have to be!
Steve or Brian will evetually post that pic. I am sure of it. I have it on my other computer.

I don't have a pic of my setup. But I travel light, spare hitchclimber setup, a silky and a flipline. I am ordering a pouch for my flipline, I like that setup. As I just picked up a 12ft flipline.

Here is one off the GTG Thread.

Well you know I never climbed trees to make a living .I did spur some poles and climbed a lot of steel .I carried what I had to plus a hand line .With a groundie they could always fetch what I needed .

Thanks for the responses re the back loop/potential bucket attachment. I guess there's no good place to hook up a climbing saddle to the bucket, unless the saddle has suspenders/dorsal attachment.

I climb medium I guess, silky and felcos, 15' lanyard, two loop runners and two spare biners.
My B'fly has two bridges, I have used both of them during a climb on occasion.

In a bucket I put my lanyard on the bridge and use that...dunno if that's ok, but when there are NO rules for anyone to wear a harness in a bucket, at least I do something.
I worked all day on Thursday in a 60' lift with an operator, me fully kitted up, him in sneakers, no helmet, no harness...

I only assume as per OSHA everyone it a mechanized lift needs a fall arrest harness .Now how many who actually use them might be another story .

Or Barbados, I choose to wear PPE because I kow it is a good thing. It is my life after all and I am going to do my best to preserve it. If that means looking goofy and being hot so be it.

Nice and light just how I like it 223TREE. Don't think I carry all that stuff I put by my harness. That is just stuff I use in climbing, it definitely does not stay on my harness during a climb. The groundies take it from me after use. I like to travel light.

223tree is my alter ego!

It is a liger converted Buckingham Glide Deluxe with company colors. A petzl rope grab for a lanyard adjuster (got rid of the shunt lanyard) maybe 10' lanyard with biners.

I cary a 5mm Maxim loop runner and an extra triple locking biner, beyond that only purpose driven stuff and my bloodstopper.

The suspenders are a $19 set from lowes, (AWP brand?) and they are great! Slim, smooth thin and really comfortable, adjustable 3 point suspension with swivel snaps, I wont ever climb without them again after switching last year.

Silky Sugoi on the leg for every climb no matter what.

We seem to be on the same page Bonner, but I have now replaced my sugoi with a zubat that I aquired from honey brothers a couple of weeks ago same length as the sugoi. Here is my quiver of saws. Two are exclusively used in palms and are hardly cleaned, the rest are rotated depending on what type of job I am doing. I cut so many different species of tree down here and certain saws work better than others. Sorry for the derail. I only have one at any time strapped to my right leg. I do tend to mix things up a bit, keeps things fresh. But I am definitely a minimalist when I climb. But I do have a love for hand saws. IMG04432-20120827-2239.jpg

Ha, you're classic paul! I only have five handsaws :what: No pics, but I rock a tree motion. First aid/bloodstopper on back. Large caritool on right, small caritool on left. 17' lava lanyard daisy-chained with art positioner. 1 handsaw. I like to fly light.
