i just wanted to thank Cut4Fun for the Front handle for my saw.and i owe him a favor so if that is anything he needs just give me a yell and i'll see if i can find it.he is a very specail person and i'm glad we have him here on the site with us.

Dont consider myself special, but dont mind helping someone out when I can. Glad handle made it and hope it works.

I wonder if a 46cc from a PP 260 with AV would fit in a non-av 3314? I have put 36cc in 42cc before both non-av, so it might work if I find a complete carcass needing motor.

LOL yeah that handle fit like a glove and for the engine fitting in a other saw i don't know about that you might have to try it and see what happens LOL.but i bet it will work though i know my 42cc out of a poulan pro 4218avx will fit in a craftsman 3416.

cut 4 fun,
ive got a box to send you, just have not had time to send her out yet
but its coming...soon

Thanks  , time is not a issue as you know. Just another project to dig in.

You like big old saws like a Clinton D55 :D I made a couple cuts with it after HL rebuild and finding air hose and then shelved it.
I bought it for the big roller nose bar. Then decided not to break the original oem Clinton bar from the package. Only missing sparkplug cover now.

heck yeah i would too just to see the changes happen and see what she would look like after words LOL.

I haven't seen one of those Clintons running for decades . My brother has one though that of course doesn't run which is no surprise .

Those old saws are very familiar to me. When I was a kid they were laying in the corner of every persons tool shed or garage, and made great motors for go-karts and mini-bikes. Course we had to build it ourselves in those days. Lots of trial and error and fun. A few mishaps along the way too.
