They were calling for 36 hrs of rain with constant winds up to 85 mph... nothing like that happened around here.. no real flooding cause the rain was just slow and steady.. mostly fell straight, with just a few gusts of wind.. enough to put a good bit of work on the schedule but nothing like you guys in NJ & NY got... I lost power for 5 minutes.. couple nasty trees, but mostly fairly easy conifers uprooted with a few oak and maples in the mix... Hoping to make it to Jersey with the stump grinder this winter... been short handed and working to exhaustion daily, which doesn't take much these days!!!Hey Dan, thanks. I have actually got my Utility Arboriculture so I do know about wires.. How did you fare in PA?
and thanks for that look.. anyone that has not seen what a real hurricane does to trees, can get a little sense of it from your vid... My first Hurricane was Hugo in '89... dropped my jaw.. total devastation, trees down everywhere.....
