Thanks for the tips. Did you guys have to change the type of hitch cord you use for SRT? I thought I would just have to change the Hitch a little. Also, how do you anchor your line? I have been using a TIP anchor but I think a basal anchor would be easier to retrieve. However I don't like having the second weighted line running through the canopy.

Basal Tie options include a POW, a munter-mule, trunk wraps with half-hitches to tie off. Way easier to retrieve, plus ground lowering options, and less need to isolate.

The rope running throught the canopy doesn't concern me at all, and actually gives benefits of redundancy and energy absorption in the case of a broken TIP.

DDRT has two life supporting weighted strands. You just get used to looking at it a bit differently. NO Blind Cuts! Same with DdRT.
